ZAMBIA MEDICAL ASSOCIATION 2025 SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE AND ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM)

The Zambia Medical Association (ZMA) will be hosting its 61^st Scientific Conference and Annual General Meeting from 8^th to 9^th August, 2025 at Avani Victoria Falls Resort in Livingstone.

The theme for the conference is “Sustainable healthcare financing as a cornerstone towards Universal Health Coverage”.

Subthemes:

1. Harnessing homegrown solutions for sustainable healthcare financing
2. Healthcare indicators (Maternal Mortality, Infant Mortality etc) amid foreign aid unpredictability
3. The role of digital health in mitigating healthcare financing challenges.
4. Private sector role in bridging the service and financing gap, and the attainment of UHC.

The program overview will include scientific paper presentations centered around the theme, discussions on topical matters affecting the welfare of the membership, keynote speeches and the 2025 AGM business.

• No registration will be done beyond this date and as such, NO payments will be accepted at the venue.
• An optional sunset boat cruise is available on first come first serve basis at K1000 (One Thousand Kwacha) per person and only 105 spaces are available. Do note that this is non-refundable.
