
The leadership of the Zambia Medical Association (ZMA), led by President Dr Masiku Phiri and accompanied by Secretary General Dr Innocent Ngwira, Marketing and Corporate Relations Officer Lindah Cheleka, and Administrative Officer Carol Soko, paid a courtesy call on the Provincial Health Director, Dr Charles Mwinuna.
During the meeting, Dr. Mwinuna commended doctors for the tremendous work they continued to do in serving communities. He stated that it was only fitting for doctors to celebrate National Doctors’ Day in recognition of the dedication and effort they invested in healthcare delivery. He further assured the team that the Provincial Health Office would participate in the planned activities, including the games.
The Provincial Health Director also expressed interest in strengthening collaboration with ZMA members and emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts with doctors across the province.
In response, ZMA President Dr. Masiku Phiri thanked the Provincial Health Director for his continued support and formally extended an invitation to participate in the National Doctors’ Day commemorations.
