14th African Society of Forensic Medicine Scientific Conference

The Zambia Medical Association, together with the African Society of Forensic Medicine, will host the 14th African Society of Forensic Medicine Scientific Conference. The conference is a continental scientific meeting intended to bring together forensic medicine and allied professionals, institutional leaders and stakeholders from Zambia, across Africa and internationally.

The conference will provide a platform for scientific exchange, policy dialogue, professional development, institutional engagement and strengthening of forensic systems that support health, safety, justice, insurance, civil registration, disaster response and evidence-based governance in Africa.

–  Scientific deliberations on forensic medicine, forensic pathology, forensic science and related disciplines.

–  Multi-sectoral engagement involving health, justice, policing, insurance, academia, public administration and development sectors.

–  Professional development, research dissemination and institutional networking.

This year’s Scientific Conference

–  Dates: 1st to 4th March, 2027

The conference is expected to attract approximately 300-400 delegates, including professionals and institutional leaders from medicine, law, policing, forensic science, insurance, public administration, academia, policy, regulation, development and related sectors.
