THE 2024 ZAMBIA MEDICAL ASSOCIATION SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE & ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The Zambia Medical Association (ZMA) will be hosting its Scientific Conference and Annual General Meeting from 30^th to 31^st August, 2024 at Avani Victoria Falls Resort in Livingstone.

The theme for the conference is “Addressing local and global health challenges by building Climate resilient, responsive and E-smart Healthcare Systems”.

Subthemes to address:

1. Emerging and re-emerging outbreaks: Social determinants and the role of climate change.
2. The role of Digital transformation in actualizing healthcare service decentralization.
3. Burden of Non-Communicable diseases and Injuries.
4. Universal health coverage and healthcare financing.
5. Comprehensive Adolescent Health

The program overview will include scientific paper presentations centered around the theme, discussions on topical matters affecting the welfare of the membership,keynote speeches and the 2024 AGM Business.

Kindly be informed that:  

• Registration fee is K2,250 (Two Thousand Two Hundred Fifty kwacha) and is non-refundable.
• Registration fee includes tea break, lunch and all conference materials.
• An optional sunset boat cruise is available for early bird payment at K600 (Six hundred kwacha), undiscounted price is K885 (Eight Hundred and Eighty-Five Kwacha) per person and only 105 spaces are available. Do note that this is non-refundable.
• Deadline for registration is 5^th July,2024.
• No registration will be done beyond this date and as such, NO payments will be accepted at the venue.
